Scott Thornton, from The Agency says:
It was a pleasure to represent my clients in the sale of 4 Bertha Road, Cremorne. The home was a rare offering of unique architecture in Cremorne, being one of the earliest Spanish Mission style houses in Sydney and one of the largest land holdings in Cremorne. We achieved a record result at auction, deeming it the highest auction sale price achieved this year along the lower north shore. We saw 102 buyers from across Sydney view the home. On Auction day we had 3 registered bidders, two of which eagerly bid for the home they had fallen in love with, creating the competition that resulted in a record-breaking sale.
Thomas McGlynn, National Head of Sales at The Agency, attended the auction and said "a record result on the auction floor at this price point doesn’t happen by chance; it’s the strategy implemented throughout the campaign. Scott Thornton is one of the top agents I have had the pleasure to work with - his ability to understand and have clear lines of communication with his buyers is paramount to achieving the best possible result, which is what sets him apart from his competitors.”
The buyers could see the love and effort my clients had put in over the 10 years to create such an exquisite space. With a convenient position in Cremorne too, it was no wonder the home gained such prompt interest.
